Concrete Flooring Repair Materials (Quick Setting Cements)

Geopolymer based repair and resurfacing mortars that set fast, gain high early strength and return floors to service within hours.

Geokrete CR — Concrete Resurfacing Mortar

A proprietary blend of powders based on geo-polymer technology used for repair, rehabilitation and re-surfacing of horizontal concrete surfaces. Formulated to produce superior bond strength with quick setting and high early strength gain, allowing repaired surfaces to be opened to traffic within a short period. Its non-shrink, superior bonding tendency with host concrete offers a highly durable solution to concrete deterioration.

Features & advantages

  • Fast setting with high early strength
  • No priming required
  • No curing required
  • Non shrink
  • Forms superior bond with the host material — highly durable
  • Pre-packed; needs only addition of water at site
  • Non toxic formulation and contains no VOCs
  • Eco friendly material

Geokrete PR (Dry Mix — Ready For Repair)

Geokrete technology is based on the chemical reaction between inorganic polymer anions and metal cations to form a strong, dense and durable matrix. It provides increasingly superior performance to traditional cementitious binders, with significantly reduced greenhouse emissions, increased fire and chemical resistance and waste utilisation.

Technical data

Geokrete EX

A proprietary blend of powders based on geopolymer technology used for low cost structural repair at depths greater than 20 mm. Packed with premixed aggregates, requiring only the addition of water at site. More durable than epoxies as the co-efficient of thermal expansion matches concrete.

Features & advantages

  • Quick setting and high early compressive strength
  • No priming and no curing required
  • Rapid return to service (less than 2 hrs after application)
  • Forms tenacious bond with host material
  • Non shrink, 100% water and fire resistant
  • Not affected by sulfates or chlorides
  • Eco friendly — contains no cement, resin or VOC

Instacem

Instacem is a curing-free quick setting cement in accordance with ASTM C 1157, an alternate binder based on new generation microcrystalline technology. When mixed with water it reacts chemically to produce a cementitious paste and hardens in a few hours with improved properties — suited to applications where speed, strength and durability are of primordial importance.

Features & advantages

  • Quick setting (can be extended)
  • High early strength — achieves 60% of its original strength in a day
  • No curing required and non shrink
  • Highly impermeable to water
  • Superior chloride and sulphate resistance
  • Increased chemical and fire resistance
  • Can set in low temperature conditions
  • No priming required; very high bond strength
